Dear Parents,

As we approach our Championship Meet (Champs), we wanted to share some important qualification information and encourage all families with qualified swimmers to attend and support the team.

Championship Meet Information

 Location: SwimRVA, 5050 Ridgedale Parkway, Richmond, VA 23234

 Date:

 10 & Under: July 18

 11 & Over: July 19

 Time: To be determined

To qualify for Champs, swimmers must achieve the JV qualifying time (or faster) based on the league's time standards (these can be found on the gralva website). Once a swimmer meets a qualifying standard, they are eligible to compete in that event at the Championship Meet. As the meet gets closer, we will contact families with qualified swimmers to confirm their events and share additional details.

If your swimmer has not yet achieved a qualifying time, they may still have an opportunity to participate as a relay-only swimmer. Relay teams are an important part of our championship lineup, and we would like to enter as many relays as possible. If your swimmer is interested and available to swim on a relay team, please let us know as soon as possible.

The Championship Meet will also offer commemorative T-shirts ($20) and heat sheets ($18) for purchase. If you would like to order either item, please email me at [email protected]. do not respond to this message. I need these no later the july 5th. We will open a Daxko order form shortly after, which will be used to collect payment.
